Anisha Garg

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Warwick.

I am on the 2026-27 academic job market.

My research sits at the intersection of urban and public economics. I study how public goods and institutions shape economic and social life in cities, with a particular interest in effects that extend beyond their conventional or intended functions.

I am a Monash Warwick Alliance Associate, and I co-organised the Applied Young Economist Webinar series.

Before joining Warwick, I worked as an analyst and a consultant at Mastercard.

I received my master’s degree from the Delhi School of Economics in 2018 and my bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi in 2016.
